-I am a clinical neuropsychologist with over two decades of experience working with individuals and families affected by memory loss and cognitive change.
Throughout my career, I have evaluated and supported people living with mild cognitive impairment, Alzheimer’s disease, Lewy body dementia, and other neurological conditions, as well as those experiencing memory concerns related to medical, emotional, or life circumstances. My work has focused not only on diagnosis, but on helping people understand what these changes mean for their daily lives, their relationships, and their sense of self.
Overtime, I found that many of the questions people asked-- about memory, identity, fear, and the future--extended far beyond the walls of the clinic. Writing became a way to reach those who may be experiencing early changes, uncertainty, or concern long before they ever seek formal evaluation, and to offer guidance that is grounded in the science and lived experience.
I am currently writing a nonfiction book focused on the earliest stages of memory change—long before life becomes defined by diagnosis. The book is intended for people noticing changes in memory or thinking, those at increased risk for cognitive decline, care-partners seeking clear guidance, and anyone who wants to approach brain health with intention rather than fear.
Alongside my writing, I continue to practice, allowing my perspective to remain informed by ongoing patient care and real world experience.
My goal is to bring clarity, compassion, and evidence-based insight to conversations about memory and aging, and to help people feel less alone as they navigate uncertainty.
I believe that understanding the brain is not just a clinical or scientific experience, but a deeply human one.
